MAMBAJAO, CAMIGUIN, June 22 (PIA) – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is calling on starting or established business entrepreneurs to visit and avail of ‘negosyo center’ services at the Mambajao Municipal hall.
The facility operates as a one-stop-shop for business registration assistance, business advisory services, business information and advocacy and monitoring and evaluation of business processes for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
It likewise offers access to livelihood assistance, training and market linkage using a simplified and improved approach that eliminates red tape.
“You will learn a lot here, we will help you start or improve your business, access technologies and manage your finances better,” DTI Senior Trade and Industry Development Specialist Rita R. Salcedo said.
The Negosyo Center will also house soon the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosk Station (STARBOOKS), a digital library which holds scientific and technological information without the use of internet, first distributed in schools and colleges and now at negosyo centers.
Salcedo likewise urged entrepreneurs’ to think outside of the box and invest into a more distinctive and sustainable business endeavor, owing from the experience of the locals who often bank on the same business projects. (JCV/PIA 10)
