e-Presyo is the name given to the newly established Online Price Monitoring System (OPMS) of the DTI with the main purpose of providing easy access to the latest suggested retail prices (SRP) for prime commodities and basic necessities.
DTI said e-Presyo does not even require sign-up when the application is accessed online, easily downloadable both in personal computer and in a smart phones.
Another important feature is the Monitored Prevailing Prices and Stores with the lowest prices and the Comparative Prevailing Prices– a week ago, a month ago, 3 months ago and a year ago.
Another use of the App is when comparing store prices for basic necessities and prime commodities against the Suggested Retail Price (SRP). (Zita M. Abellare, with reports from Varry Labial, DTI-Camiguin/PIA-10
