CAMIGUIN, October 30 (PIA) – To captivate more hearts to feel Camiguin, the tourism office here launched the new Camiguin tourism ad entitled, “No Words,” during the opening of the 38th Lanzones Festival on October 22 at the Congressman Pedro P. Romualdo Tourism and Sports Complex in Mambajao.
The video was simultaneously uploaded on the Facebook page, Camiguin Tourism Office, to reach a greater number of viewers and encourage more tourists to visit the island.
“Commissioned by the provincial government and conceptualized by a team of creative millennials, the video encapsulates the provincial government’s #FeelCamiguin campaign and aims to invite and encourage people to come to Camiguin and explore the province for themselves,” Provincial Tourism Officer Candice Naome Dael said.
The team behind the video sought to bring a fresh approach to promote the island by showing how a trip to Camiguin, with all the wonderful experiences it offers, may leave one speechless and without words.
The video tells the story of a chatty tourist who visits the island for the first time, finds the place boring and gets a service from a mute local tour guide. Along the way, the loud tourist got to feel the beauty of Camiguin with its scenic beaches, springs, falls, friendly people and sweet Lanzones.
Dael shared that the ‘hash tag’ Feel Camiguin campaign is their way of convincing tourists that nothing beats the Camiguin experience.(RTP/PIA10)
