CAMIGUIN, November 29 (PIA)—Ang Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) andam nang dad-on ang ilahang skills training program sa lagyong lugar sa probinsiya pinaagi sa paglagda sa Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) sa gobernador sa probinsiya, TESDA ug Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
Si TESDA Provincial Director Nazario Villamor, Jr. miingon nga ang Camiguin ginganlan isip usa sa napulo ka mga pobreng probinsiya sa nasud niadtong 2013 busa gitagaan pagtagad sa TESDA ang probinsiya nga makadawat sa Mobile Training Laboratory (MTL).
Giingon pa ni Villamor nga ang mga MTLs mao’y mga pasilidad sa pagbansay-bansay nga dali lang madala gikan sa usa ka lugar padulong sa laing erya sa probinsiya. Aduna kini’y upat ka malihok-lihok nga compact boxes nga naa sa usa ka trailer ug naglakip kini ug mga tools, ekipo, training package ug multi-media equipment ug accessories.
Lakip sa mga kuro nga itudlo ilalom sa MTL nga pasilidad mao ang Appliance Repair, Bread and Pastry, Cookery, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Food Processing, Plumbing, ug Small Engine Repair.

CAMIGUIN, November 29 (PIA) – The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is set to bring its skills training program to remote areas in the province with the upcoming signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) of the provincial governor, TESDA and Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
TESDA Provincial Director Nazario Villamor, Jr. said that Camiguin has been named as one of the ten poorest provinces in the country in 2013 thus, TESDA prioritizes the province to be the recipient of the Mobile Training Laboratory (MTL).
“The MTLs are training facilities can be easily transported from one place to another within the province. It is composed of four movable compact boxes on a trailer that includes tools, equipment, training package and multi-media equipment and accessories,” said Villamor.
Among the courses that will be taught under the MTL facility include Appliance Repair, Bread and Pastry, Cookery, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Food Processing, Plumbing, and Small Engine Repair.
Six MTLs shall be fabricated and delivered to the province which is also funded by the PAGCOR.(RTP/PIA10)

Ang mga nagkalain-laing tanyag sa pampubliko ug pribadong Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs) nga musalmot sa TSWP gipapasa na niadtong Setyembre 7, 2017.
Ang mga qualification titles/kurso naglakip sa Computer Systems Servicing NC II nga aduna’y 30 slots, Cookery NC II (20 slots), Driving NC II (21 slots), Plumbing NC I (15 slots) ug Trainers Methodology Level I (15 slots).
Ang TESDA-10 migahin ug P749,700 nga badyet para sa training cost, assessment fee ug per capita cost para sa lima ka qualification titles/courses.
Ang training provider mapili base sa mga pamaagi nga giplastado sa TESDA ug ang tender document makuha gikan email@example.com.

CAMIGUIN, September 13 (PIA) – With the aim to address equity and access by providing direct financial assistance to deserving Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) enrollees in the province, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)- Camiguin Provincial Office will conduct the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) with various courses on October 2017.
Proposals from public and private Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs) to participate in the TWSP were due on September 7, 2017.
The qualification titles/courses include Computer Systems Servicing NC II with 30 slots, Cookery NC II with 20 slots, Driving NC II with 21 slots, Plumbing NC I with 15 slots and Trainers Methodology Level I with 15 slots.
TESDA-10 has allocated P749,700 budget for the training cost, assessment fee and per capita cost for the five qualification titles/courses.
The training provider shall be selected in accordance with the procedures set forth by TESDA and the tender document shall be downloaded from firstname.lastname@example.org.
The TWSP scholars shall be entitled to free training and assessment and the approved TWSP standard costing for training and assessment shall be applied strictly.(RTP/PIA10)

CAMIGUIN, June 28 — The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)- Camiguin Provincial Office names Connie B. Adajar, general manager of Bahay Bakasyunan sa Camiguin as the provincial nominee for the Search for 2017 Idols ng TESDA.
Adajar is endorsed for the wage-employed category where there were only four nominees made it to the Regional Search. In the contest proper, only three nominees came; two from the province of Bukidnon and one from Camiguin.
The Regional Search was held recently at the Function Hall of TESDA in Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City.
The wage-employed category is open to any Filipino graduate currently working in a field related to the TESD certificate he or she has earned and receives a pay check from an employer for the last three years.
The Search for Idols ng TESDA aims to give recognition to graduates of TESD programs who have attained skills excellence and success in their chosen occupations and contributed to the economic growth in their communities.

CAMIGUIN, April 19 (PIA)— To build and strengthen the capacity of the Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions in expanding and improving the delivery of quality and relevant training programs to meet job requirements, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has succeeded in tapping the three training schools here in its Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP).
The Camiguin School of Arts and Trades, Camiguin Polytechnic State College, and Fatima College of Camiguin recently responded to the invitation of the agency to offer automotive servicing NC I, electrical installation and maintenance NC II, computer systems services NC II, and plumbing NC I and II.
TESDA-Camiguin currently offers 16 slots for automotive services, 15 for electrical installation and maintenance, 15 for computer systems services, 14 and 15 for plumbing NC I and II respectively. It will provide for the training cost, assessment fee and per capita cost of the courses that amounts to P510,200.
The schools have submitted their tender to TESDA-Camiguin on April 10 and were selected in accordance with the procedures set forth by the agency.
Since the technical education is multi-entry and exit, various proposed dates on the commencement of every course have been set. The earliest date is on May 5 and the latest is on October 14.(RTP/PIA10)
